CIOL members and affilliates are at the heart of everything we do. Our member networks are run by members and offer a unique opportunity for linguists to come together to network, share ideas, offer support and guidance, participate in professional development activities, share news and updates and to simply meet socially.
CIOL Divisions
All CIOL members, irrespective of grade, have the opportunity to attend events (online and in-person) organised by our three specialist divisions, all managed by CIOL members on a voluntary basis:
Business, Professions and Government
The diversity of the Business, Professions and Government Division (BPG) Division is its strength as it welcomes all linguists working in industry, commerce, government and the professions (e.g. law, accountancy, engineering).
